The original Lucile's, a pale yellow Victorian house in Boulder

Since 1980

It started with a mother's recipes and a little yellow Victorian.

Lucile's opened in 1980 in a small Victorian house in Boulder, painted our signature pale yellow. The menu still carries a photograph of the owner and his mother Lucile, the cafe's namesake.

Forty-five years later we're still family run, still cooking Creole breakfast from scratch, and still pouring chicory coffee for the people of Colorado every day of the week.
